Entrepreneurship and Start ups Internship Project
Entrepreneurship Training Aspects The goals of entrepreneurial schools (career schools) are to teach upcoming entrepreneurs specific skills and as such have been better considered to be an institution devoted to training, education as well as expose ‘will be young people to the “real world” of business by taking them on field trips to local business offices. During these exposures the students are able to identify and develop their business start up potential.
While many entrepreneurs make starting a new company look easy, entrepreneurship is actually difficult and tricky, as many new ventures can easily fail because of improper knowledge and direction. We volunteers to play a key role in enabling our young entrepreneurs connect their classroom and workshop experiences to the “real world.”
Volunteers become part of the class sessions and workshop either to understudy or to present a lesson on their area of professional expertise or share their own experiences as a student or entrepreneur. Class sessions and workshop are based on the curriculum and syllabus outlined by the school. Encouraging entrepreneurship has become an accepted wisdom in economic development and government policy.
This entrepreneurial studies approach, which was started in the USA and has currently spread across the world, which is an action learning approach as well as an excellent vehicle for teaching business studies.
What skills or qualifications do I need?
In order to ensure high standards and help the project progress, the volunteer intern needs a Bachelors Degree in Business Management or equivalent. The volunteer intern should be confident, outgoing, friendly and creative, as well as have the patience required when working with less experienced students and adapting to the challenges of a developing country like Ghana.
